Continuity

The biggest gap in maternity care isn’t clinical skill, it’s continuity. Women are seen by multiple professionals, repeating their story over and over again, often feeling like just another appointment in the day. But pregnancy isn’t just clinical. It’s emotional, personal, and often uncertain. And when there’s no continuity, something important gets lost: Trust, Understanding, The ability to truly tailor care. In my work, I see the difference when a woman feels known, not just medically, but as a whole person. Care becomes calmer. Decisions feel clearer. Confidence grows. Continuity isn’t a luxury. It changes how pregnancy is experienced.
